Dance for Memory, Hope & Connection 💃🕺

Join us AND the whole dance community (dance schools, event organizers & DJ's) of Groningen, Friesland & Drenthe on Sunday, June 7th, 2026 for an unforgettable day of music, dance and purpose at BAILA Against Alzheimer – a powerful dance event dedicated to raising awareness for Alzheimer’s disease and highlighting the positive impact dance can have on the brain and overall well-being.

12.00 - 14.00 hrs:
12 mini-workshops in 3 areas (dance styles, themes and levels to be announced)

14.00 - 18.00 hrs:
Area 1: Social Ballroom & Latin
Area 2: Social Rock&Roll & Lindy Hop
Area 3: Social Zouk & West Coast Swing

18.00 - 20.00 hrs:
12 mini-workshops in 3 areas (dance styles, themes and levels to be announced)

20.00 - 00.00 hrs:
Area 1: Social Salsa & Bachata Dominicana
Area 2: Social Kizomba & Bachata Sensual
Area 3: Social Argentijnse Tango

Coming months we will present the dance schools, event organizers & DJ's contributing to this meaningfull event.

BAILA Against Alzheimer is more than a party. It’s a movement.
Through dance, we bring people together, activate both body and mind, and show how rhythm, music and connection can play a meaningful role in helping to slow down or counteract the effects of Alzheimer’s.

💜 100% of the proceeds (after costs) will be donated to Alzheimer Nederland Foundation.
